Learning Modules
Rodriguez & Associates offers a variety of cutting-edge, customizable learning modules that are available on both a standalone basis as well as part of a comprehensive consulting engagement. The list below showcases a few of the many topics offered.
Women’s Executive Leadership Programs
We offer comprehensive and thorough programs for executive women. Our course design and delivery style create a unique learning experience — one that provides quick returns for participants at both the personal and organizational levels. Participants consistently say they experience enhanced presence in the organization, professional acceleration, and an inner sense of power and “voice” among peers and co-workers. They are better able to integrate work, personal needs and other facets of their lives, so that they are eager to go to work every Monday morning.
Emerging Talent: Developing Entry-level Professionals for the 21st Century
This comprehensive program is designed for entry-level women and uses case studies and dialogue in a highly interactive group setting. It helps women, at an early stage of their career, identify the key success factors and behaviors that must be enhanced or developed to accelerate their growth and increase their contribution to the organization. The program also helps the organization identify top performers as well as areas where support and improvement are needed.
Women/Men Talk — Gender Communication Patterns
No skill is more fundamental to leadership than communication. This module addresses the challenges that both women and men face in communicating with each other. Starting with physiology, social upbringing, culture and education, we explore the reasons difficulties in communication occur. Then we move on to a series of exercises that present a clear path for change — stressing practical techniques and real-world strategies for more effective communication and collaboration.
Leadership: Women in the 21st Century
All the rules have changed — and women will play a more significant part in the global economy than ever before. This module helps both men and women understand the “new rules” of the 21st century, how to leverage the skills and attributes women bring to work environment, and how to demystify the tension between genders so that women and men can find a gender neutral context in which to work. This module can be used to promote understanding of the organization’s need to draw from “both sides of the aisle.”
How to Make Conflict Work for You
Conflict is difficult to manage — for both men and women. It can be a roadblock to collaboration and to a healthy work environment. This module helps participants to understand conflict, how to prevent its escalation and, ultimately, how to use conflict as a positive force for change — one that fosters leadership and engagement.
Ethics and Diversity
This interactive, case-based module helps managers identify bias, talk about the “pink elephant in the room,” and manage difficult diversity issues. The program draws out participants’ experiences, and helps them see the connection between diversity and ethics. By exploring the question of “who we are” as a company, as a team and as individuals, participants are encouraged to see the inherent value in everyone, thus strengthening the bonds that tie the organization together.
